Victron SmartSolar MPPT 450/200 Solar Controller
The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 450/200 regulator is one of the most optimized regulators, both in the management of the battery charge and in the maximization of the energy extracted from the solar panel.
The sizing is simple, in 48V battery systems the maximum power in solar panels is 7200W.
Any model of photovoltaic solar panel can be used considering the following:
- The maximum open circuit voltage shall not exceed 8 times the float voltage of the battery.
- The short circuit current must be maximum 20A per tracker.
- The MPPT RS will check if there is enough resistive isolation between PV+ and GND and PV- and GND. In case of resistance below the threshold, the unit will stop charging, display the error and send the error signal to the GX device (if connected) so that an audible and email notification is sent.
